Confirm terminal changes and through-checked baggage. Separate tickets can require immigration clearance and a second check-in. Overnight connections may move the Sri Lankan arrival to the next day; compare that date with the form after every schedule update.

Hosts, family visits and contact details

If staying with friends or relatives, enter the real Sri Lankan address and keep a telephone number that works during the trip. A host's invitation or message does not replace the ETA approval. The traveller should know where they will stay first and be able to explain the itinerary.

Families should keep one private application record per passport. Similar Arabic names can cause files to be mixed. Identify each decision using the passport number and date of birth, and ensure every traveller can access their own approval.
